We offer a unique opportunity to physical therapists (PTs) who would like to experience the most gratifying form of physical therapy there is. We need a few people to assist in covering client needs while our staff takes well-deserved vacations.
Our Bangor location has a great position for a physical therapist wanting to make a positive difference in someone's life! You would be responsible for providing physical therapy services to clients in their homes through assessment, and development and implementation of a plan of care, in consultation with physicians and families. Utilizing the latest information technologies and telecommunication systems, VNA provides you with a variety of therapy experiences, ranging from caring for clients with medical/surgical needs as well as caring for clients with end stage and palliative care needs. In addition you would play an integral role in collaborating with other members of the client care team!
We will offer 2 paid days off to someone committing to 40 hours/week and 1 paid day off to someone committing to 32 hours/week. This (these) day(s) will be taken sometime during the three month period with Supervisor's prior approval. If you choose not to take time off, this time off will be paid out to you as long as you work through Friday before Labor Day.
You must be able to attend a week long Orientation in May in our Bangor, office. There will also be 1-2 more days later in June. This time will be paid as meeting time at $33/hour. Seasonal pay will begin the first full week following your week long orientation and end on Saturday before Labor Day, or Martin Luther King Day.
Current PT license in Maine; CPR Card (Must be BLS Healthcare Provider); Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and VNA required auto liability insurance. Ability to travel in assigned service area.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
