Heavy Modular Construction - Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will develop short-term and long-term strategic marketing plans in conjunction with the business plan to support, grow and retain business within existing business units. Requires close coordination with VP & General Manager-Cianbro Constructors LLC and all levels of operations management.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Ideal candidate should possess:
10 years of experience in the heavy modular construction industry with some related to sales and/or business development.
Demonstrated track record of an established network of contacts within the petrochemical, refining and mining industries leading to excellent client relations and closed transactions.
Must possess excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, with the ability to produce highly professional proposals and presentations.
Requires a creative, detail-oriented, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to shift easily and prioritize multiple tasks with a sense of urgency in the accurate completion of tasks.
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute the business development plan for heavy modular construction markets identifying and prioritizing potential customers and projects.
Develop and maintain sales pipeline and qualify leads; ensure balance of sales efforts between short-term and longer-term prospects and take corrective action as appropriate. Provide sales pipeline reporting as required.
Present solutions, services, or ideas to clients in a manner that clearly shows how they would address critical business needs; build confidence in solutions, services, or ideas.
Represent CIANBRO's proposals at senior levels in the client organization and effectively manage high profile or developing customer relationships from initial first call through to project implementation.
Prepare, review, and deliver sales presentations and proposals. Assist in implementation and delivery of projects to clients.
Meet customers' needs prior to contract execution. Provide advice, liaison and planning to prospective and current customers.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive environment; develop and leverage a broad network; study market changes and their likely impact on customers to identify growth opportunities and trends.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
