Troy Industrial Solutions is looking for a motivated professional with proven experience in nurturing existing customer relationships and prospecting for new customers for its Industrial Metal Fabrication - Territory Manager position.
TIS will provide all the resources to maintain and build your territory.
The strong existing customer base and virtually wide-open new customer market will provide you with a lucrative income for years to come.
This opportunity is based in our Brewer, Maine location, where we have a significant focus on custom metal fabrication, bulk material handling, and machining with the backing of a large manufacturing facility loaded with the equipment, personnel, and resources to make you successful.
Essential
Responsibilities:
Drive sales results by actively engaging customers, including researching, pursuing, networking, and closing business opportunities Track your relationships, and opportunities utilizing a CRM tool to manage your market Retain existing customer base delivering the value proposition of the company and your customer relationship experience Present solutions to address customer needs, utilizing all the company's product and services offering from 4 locations throughout the northeastern US Collaborate with Estimators, Project Managers, Product Manager, Technical Sales, and Production to create dynamic and turnkey solutions for multiple industrial markets, including wood, mining, power generation, recycling, municipalities, and food & beverage Promote and sell top tier power transmission manufacturers and provide the services for the products that you sell.
Responsible for implementing company strategic priorities, including joint calls, cultivating relationships, communicating to executive team threats and opportunities to the market Be part of a solution for customer requirements Foster a positive attitude that understands and values the work - life balance QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Previous industrial sales experience required; 3 years at a minimum Two-year degree or equivalent military service a minimum.
Four-year technical degree (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) preferred Extensive experience with application and use of products in area of expertise Familiarity with CRM platforms Strong team-orientated Ability to build business rapport with clients Computer literacy and databases experience desired WORK ENVIRONMENT Employee regularly spends significant time on the road/driving, visiting client offices While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
